Ingredients
  

Classic Chicken Breast and Asparagus Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • to taste salt and pepper

Stuffed Chicken Option

  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • to taste fresh herbs like basil or parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Step 2: Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and squeeze lemon juice over them. For stuffed chicken, slice a pocket into each breast and fill with the cream cheese and mozzarella mixture.
  • Step 3: Toss the trimmed asparagus with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Step 4: Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes. Then, add the asparagus around the chicken and cook for another 8-10 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the asparagus is tender.

Notes

To avoid dry chicken, monitor the cooking temperature closely. For crispy asparagus, consider adding it halfway through the cooking process. Don’t forget to season to taste!
