Equipment

  • Pot

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Step 2: Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place in the air fryer and cook for about 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until it reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Step 3: While the chicken is cooking, boil the orzo according to package instructions, roughly 8-10 minutes. In the last 2-3 minutes, add the broccoli florets to steam.
  • Step 4: Once everything is cooked, combine the orzo, broccoli, and diced chicken in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

Try adding a splash of chicken broth instead of water when cooking the orzo for extra flavor. Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
