  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup breadcrumb for binding
  • 1 large egg to help hold everything together
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika optional for a little kick
  • 4 each burger buns toasted if desired
  • as needed toppings lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness, then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  • Step 2: For the air fryer, preheat to 375°F (190°C) and cook the burgers for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway. On the grill, preheat to medium-high and grill for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. For stovetop, heat olive oil and cook for 5-6 minutes per side.
  • Step 3: Toast the buns and assemble your burgers with lettuce, chicken, and toppings of your choice.

Notes

Keep your burgers juicy by not overcooking them and consider adding some moisture to the mixture. Pre-make your patties and freeze them for quick meals later!
